The Performance Management Unit is responsible for monitoring the performance of IDP objectives by facilitating the participation of the Municipal Manager, Deputy Municipal Managers, Senior Managers, Managers and Specialists in the Performance Management process.

The unit consistently receives Unqualified Audit Opinions from the Auditor-General.

It is the vision of the unit to cascade Performance Management to all members of staff by 2024.
