King Cetshwayo is a district that is led by the core values of transparency, integrity, commitment and cooperation. We maintain strict quality control and prudent financial management, with the aim of achieving our developmental goals within the framework of applicable legislation. 

The King Cetshwayo District is surrounded by uMkhanyakude District to the north, Zululand District to the northwest, uMzinyathi District to the north-east and iLembe District to the south and is approximately 150 km north of the eThekwini metro.

The District comprises five (5) Local Municipalities:  uMfolozi, uMhlathuze,  uMlalazi, Mthonjaneni, Nkandla.
